At Banjo, we build on the term coined by Murray Schafer in 1977 -”soundscape”- and, from a place of deep respect, we’ve developed our own methodology.
A way of translating the understanding of the sonic landscape into sound identities and experiences that shape how brand narratives are felt, expressed, and connected to people.
We believe that every sound carries intention and meaning.
Music, sound design, and even silence reveal a brand’s sonic language, its energy and its presence in the world.
The soundscape is not only what we hear, but how we inhabit sound: the space where meaning becomes experience.

Sound at the Center

The confines of sound have yet to be found.

Compared to visuals, graphic design, or literature, it remains largely unexplored.
In a world saturated with images and words, where new devices and social media thrive on visual impact, the ears remain open, ready to be seduced by the abstraction of new meanings.
Yet we must be honest: sonic branding is far more than catchy tunes or a striking audio logo.
It is vibration made visible, capable of translating data into melodic understanding, inspiring the shape and design of a product, or evoking textures that send shivers through the skin.
When sound becomes substance at the core of a brand, it drives action and inspires culture.
It plays a substantive role, shaping emotion and forging connection.

The Sound Atelier
