Many creative crafts begin by switching on a computer and end by switching it off. We're grateful when a project lets us begin differently. Alhambra has long been committed to another pace, to the local... and that called for a process to match: handwritten score, then digital notation, performed by musicians from the Orquesta del Palau de València, recorded mostly in a single take. And a great team behind it all. The wheel and the accelerated routine shape the piece. An arpeggiated motif that ends where it begins.
